CH Mohammed koya scholarship

The applications are invited by the Directorate of Minority Welfare,  Government of Kerala for CH Muhammed koya Scholarship for academic year 2019.These scholarships are given to those female students belonging to the Muslim Community / Latin Catholic Community / Converted Christians (SC Velar Community).  To be eligible, these applicants must be educated in the Ist Year of Undergraduate (UG) programs in Govt.  / aided institutions.  The application is the same for the online and the scholarship amount will be awarded.

C H Muhammed koya Scholarship Benefits:

The selected candidates will be awarded the following scholarship amount.  The details are furnished below with the number of scholarships.


  • (UG) Under Graduates : Rs. 5, 000 / - per annum (3, 000 Nos).

  • (PG) Post Graduates     : Rs. 6, 000 / - per annum (1, 000 Nos).

  • Professional Courses   : Rs. 7, 000 / - per annum (1, 000 Nos). 


Hostel Stipend:
Rs.  13, 000 / - per annum (2, 000 Nos).

CH Muhammed koya Scholarship for Application Process:

The application process for the scholarship is online.

Students belonging to MUSLIM, Latin, Converted Christian community and she must be a native of Kerala.

 The applicant must be a Female student studying in the Ist year of Graduation or Higher courses in Govt.  / Aided Institution.

 Those applicants who got admission to self-financing colleges are also eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Bright students among the children of Ex-Servicemen studying from post-metric class to post-graduate and other courses are eligible for scholarships varying from Rs. 2000/- to Rs. 3500/- Eligibility : a) Students who have secured minimum 50% marks in aggregate in the examinations conducted in the previous year. b) Should not be a recipient of any other scholarship. c) Only students attending regular classes in Govt.
